“The event was very educational and we really appreciate the work that WeedWorks is doing for veterans. After hearing from the speakers and talking with other vets, I’m starting my own cannabis journey — something I never would have considered before. Seeing how it’s helping other vets manage PTSD, chronic pain, and sleep gave me hope that I could find something that works for me too.”
37-year police veteran, worked in narcotics all the way up to Assistant Chief. Bill’s cannabis journey started when he retired from the Sheriff’s Department and was prescribed his first opioid. 8 years later, he was addicted and beat opioid addiction through the use of cannabis. Bill became the 1st cannabis coach in AZ and also performs psychedelic treatments for those with severe PTSD and trauma.
“Cannabis saved my life and I asked WeedWorks to educate my fellow veterans on plant medicine. WeedWorks put on a great expo that opened the minds of those that attended. All the speakers were engaging and several veterans visited a dispensary for the first time after the event.”
